Shadow VM's after RPVM 5.1 upgrade
I have just completed a RPVM 5.1.1.3 upgrade from 5.0.1.2 The 5.1 What's New document states:
In this version, we eliminated the usage of a Shadow VM when replicating VMs in
VMware's vCenter. The advantages are lower resources used, and the number of copy
VM reconfigure tasks performed by RecoverPoint for VMs is reduced to a single
reconfigure. After upgrading to 5.1 and later, shadow VMs are automatically removed
after the upgrade is complete.
However, I still have rp.SERVERNAME.copy.shadow VM's that boot from the RPVM floppy image for all my replicated systems. I'm assuming that no more Shadown VM's would mean these should no longer be there. Even if I protect a new VM, it still creates the shadow VM running with the boot floppy. Did something now complete correctly with the upgrade?

Hi there,
The shadow post fix naming convention remains but the underlying shadow vmx requirement has been removed.
