Setting up recoverpoint appliances in iSCSI only environment
Hello, I am deploying a 2 appliance recoverpoint site at a customer site using deployment manager in an iSCSI only environment. When I get to the Zoning portion of deployment manager it tells me it cannot continue because it doesnt have FC connectivity. There is no FC in this customer's environment and the SAN (A VNX5300 unified) will be iSCSI only. How do I continue? I need to get these RPAs setup using iSCSI LUNs but I dont see a way to do it.
I would file an SR but recoverpoint's live chat is down right now and I cant wait for an old-fashioned SR to work its way through the system. I really need an answer today.

You have to connect the RPA fibre cables directly into the storage processor. RPAs need to be connected via fibre; either directly to the SP or via a fibre switch.

Take a look at the attached screenshot on how to connect the fibre cables from the RPAs to the VNX/CX SP ports. Also note that you need to connect fibre cables between the two RPAs. Ports 0 and 1 on each RPA connect to the SP ports. Ports 2 and 3 o each RPAs connect to each other (RPA1 port 2 connects to RPA2 port 2; RPA1 port 3 connects to RPA2 port 3).

I was afraid of that. I was hoping to get away without doing that, looks like I need to find some fiber cables. Thanks.
