RPVM IP Change
Hello,
In a RPVM remote replication setup, if there is a site relocation for Site A to a new site with new networking segments/vlans, are the following steps to change IP addresses enough for RPVM?
1. Pause replication for all CGs
2. Shutdown vRPAs
3. Site relocation
4. Change IP addresses for Port Groups and VMkernel ports in ESXi
5. Power on vRPAs
6. From Deployer, change IP addresses for LAN/WAN/DATA/Cluster-MGMT
7. Start replication for all CGs
Are these steps enough? Are there any missing steps?
Is there any documented procedure for this?
Kindly advise.
Thanks.

Hello,
I believe the provided URL is pointing to https://support.emc.com/kb/318626, which is for physical RPA.
Is is similar to RPVM?
My customer is looking to change IP networking for RPVM.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Granted we're talking about IP changes then indeed the Deployer is the way to go. If there's also a need to change the network topology then the boxmgmt CLI would need to be leveraged.
As referenced above, the Installation and Deployment Guide is the one-stop-shop for documentation around these topics.
As for the shutdown procedure, check out the following KB article:

Hope that helps,
