RP/EX to RP/CL
Hi,
I have two sites, each site is running RP/EX and the code version 4.0 SP2 P1. I need to convert the licensing model from RP/EX to RP/CL. Can I clarify whether the process is as simple as remove the RP/EX license file and just add the RP/CL license file? Will this cause the replication to be stopped during the conversion process. For RP/CL it will be based on cluster id for license generation. I would like which "cluster id" should I use get_internal_cluster_uids or get_system_settings.

Yes. Once you remove the EX licenses, no impact to on-going replication, however you can’t make any changes in the system until you install the new licenses. For CL the Locking ID is the cluster ID which can be obtained using: get_internal_cluster_uids.

This is not a conversion but a simple licensing file replacement. Get the RP/CL licensing generated by using the cluster UIDs from the get_internal_cluster_uids CLI command. Then remove the EX licensing files and add the CL licensing files. This does not affect replication.
