RPA with one drive failure support replace node? Workaround
I have a gen4 rpa 4.0 sp2 with drive bay1 failure and support is sending me a node "really"
Is there a workaround for me to replace drive from replacement node?
Cant you go into raid bios and re-mirror drive?

This is not a supported FRU option for the Gen4 and requires a whole RPA replacement.

I've been through the same thing. Seems odd for something so easily replaced, but it's the way it is.

Just to add that there are other FRU options for GEN5 and GEN6. For example: drives, PSUs and fans, IO modules in GEN6 and more.
