RP SE APPLIANCE LIMITATION

Hi,

I noticed since I have been adding more consistency groups, I have been getting errors for high load. I am trying to asynchronously replicate roughly 10 TB of data total. By 10 TB, I mean that is what the consistency groups add up to be. I have sized my journals correctly as far as I know.

I have two appliances available on the DR side, 1 on each storage array on the array side per arrays, we have two arrays. I was under the impression that either arrays can use the appliances on the production array side depending on the zoning so we are good there.

What is the TB limitation per appliance for Recover SE?

Thanks!

There is no TB limit per RPA. You may possible mean MB/s throughput on the basis that the lack of RPA performance may be causing the highload.

However, in the first instance you should run the detect_bottlenecks CLI command and choose the option which identifies highloads. The output should indicate where the issue might lie as highloads occur in async mode due to insufficient RPA, WAN and/or Distribution (journal and replica) resources.

Re your comment concerning the RPA separation and relationship with arrays, you should ensure that each RPA is zoned to both arrays.
