I am sorry, I was not specific in my previous post.

1. When you use Java (not ssh), can you connect to the 2nd site or you are having the same problem?

2. What is your Java version?

3. Have you tried uninstalling the Java application (not the Java itself)?

4. Have you tried clearing Java cache?

5. Is the problem specific to one workstation?

If the above recommendations are not resolving your issue, please open a Service Request for further assistance.

Thanks,

Dmitry

Are you referring to RecoverPoint Management GUI?

I would ssh into the management IP to check network and confirm your cluster is operational.

If you're getting a Java error, you can uninstall the RP GUI in Control Panel and/or clear Java cache.

If you have two sites, you can also log in to the 2nd site as a workaround.

Hope it helps.

Can you connect to the 2nd site?  Has it ever worked?  What changed, if anything?  RP upgrade? Java upgrade?

It could also be a wrong Java version.  Which one do you use?

On your Windows workstation, in Control Panel, you should have a Java icon.  I have Windows 7, so it's under Programs, Java, "General", "Temporary Internet Files", "Settings...", "Delete Files...".  I would try to uninstall the application (not Java) first, but in both scenarios, you're trying to force the Java application to download again.

Thanks. I'm referring to RecoverPoint Management GUI

I can use ssh on the two sites. with "get_system_status" command. All thing is OK. Is there any command to clear Java cache ?

I Think, it's not a java problem. On the same site, I can reach a storage array and switches Brocade.

Sometimes Java has issues with some applications, but not others.  Could you connect to the 2nd site from the same workstation?

a colleague had installed java version 7 (7 update 2 (build 1.7.0_02-b13) that causes problems for RP (3.3.SP2(m.53)). We went back to version 6 (6 update 30 (build 1.6.0_30-b12) and everything works.

Thank you very much.

Hassan
