Required steps for adding second VMAX splitter to existing RP cluster
In our environment we have 2 active RP clusters.
Cluster-1 version 4.1.2
source Site-1-NJ has 4 Gen5 RPAs and VMAX-10K-747
target Site-2-CA has 4 Gen5 RPAs using VMAX-10K-175
Cluster2 version 5.0.0.1
source Site-1-VA has 2 Gen5 RPAs using VMAX-10K-651
target Site-2-CA has 2 Gen5 RPAs using VMAX-10K-799
Note: Site-2-CA is the same physical location for both Clusters.
What we want to accomplish.
We would like to add the Site-2-CA VMAX-10K-799 splitter to Cluster-1 Site-2-CA.
Essentially allowing Cluster-1 to replicate to both VMAX at Site-2-CA.
Please provide steps to make this work (zoning, repository file, masking etc).
Thanks!

Hi there,
There's one Repository volume per RP cluster to no need to configure a repository when adding an array to an existing cluster. Other than that, we're looking at the same steps as configuring a new array for RP.
Please refer to the RecoverPoint with VMAX2 Technical Notes document available on support.emc.com for zoning, masking and other instructions.
Also, I would highly recommend that you upgrade all clusters to the target release which is RP 5.0.1.2.
Hope that helps,
