Replicating Active Directory VM with Recoverpoint for VM
Hi All,
There is a requirement to replicate AD from DC to RD site. Customer already have rp4vm to replicate VM from DC to DR. We have tried to replicate the AD using rp4vm. The VM replication was succeed but AD can't bring up at DR.
Is it any document that mention we can/can't do a replication of the VM running AD with rp4vm.
I'm searching about this but don't find such document so far. I found doc mention that Vmware not recommend to replicate AD using SRM but for rp4vm there is no document that mention about this.
Best regards,
triyono

Hi @try333
kindly note that RP4VM is a storage agnostic working on the VMDK level and it replicates any type of VM that supported by VMware.
So I think it may be a Microsoft issue, maybe something like that https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/947022/the-netlogon-share-is-not-present-after-you-install-active-directory-d
Hope that helps,
