RecoverPoint License
Hello,
I have a question related to RecoverPoint Licesne.
We tried to add the vRPA license but we faced and error as below:
unmatch license: you have installed a ReocverPoint license although the system was installed with the Deployment Manager/SE inastaller.
To have a better overview: we have 2 vRPA virtual machines which are deployed from an OVF. we clustred these two
and even tried connecting two different clusters (Our Primary site and Disaster Site) we have and it works fine. but we cannot add the vRPA license afterwards, but it was not successful.
our storage devices are two VNX5200 with splitter on them.
any suggestions are welcome.

Hi there,
It looks like you're trying to add a non-SE license to a cluster which was installed as SE.
SE license is applicable for VNX/VNXe and Unity and allows for up to to cluster per system and one array per RP cluster.
From what I can tell, in your case, it should be SE as you have 1 x VNX5200 per RP cluster so I would open a service request to see why non-SE (EX/CL) was issued.
If the EX or CL licenses are intentional then the clusters should be converted to RP classic through Deployment Manager, the non-SE licenses can be added after the conversion is done.
