RecoverPoint integration with VMAX3/AF

Hi All,

I'm trying to integrate VMAX250F with existing RP cluster, current environment as below:

1. Customer current environment: 6 nodes RP GEN5 connected to 4xVMAX10K boxes and VPLEX.
2. Above setup is stable and functioning perfectly.
3. Customer bought 2 new VMAX250F and planning to add them to current environment with integration with VPLEX and RP cluster.
4. VPLEX integration completed with no issues.
5. RP integration with VMAX250F boxes require code upgrade for RP (5.1) and also for VMAX250F (ePack)
6. RP upgrade and VMAX ePack completed with no issues.

After completion of all above mentioned points, when I tried to execute SYMRPI command to integrate VMAX250F box with RP, it failed with error “ The Caller is not authorized to perform the requested operation”

command used :" symrpi -sid xxx -cluster environment -setup ( no - repository since repo reside in VPLEX)

I checked Article Number 000465402 for the same and found that Authorization control Disabled which is the correct option (no need to change anything)

I asked support engineer to execute the command using his credential and he was able to execute the command but different error appear stating that :” Analyze Configuration..........................................Failed. No device masking login history records could be found “

As described in document:

RP storage group, gatekeepers and masking view will be created by symrpi command, Do I need to create them manually and try executing command again?

Any one have experience on VMAX3/AF with RP, please update and share.
