Need help with Installing RP License

Hi RPA engineers,

I have a situation where three of my RPA licenses (VPLEX) are going to expire today and I have procured new licenses to replace these.

I need to know the process to add these new renewed licenses using the Unisphere for RecoverPoint (GUI) version V4.0.2.

The details, I have on the screen (Recoverpoint -> Admin -> Manage Licenses)

Type / RPA Cluster / Array Serial Number(s) / Replication / capacity / Expiration / Status.

There are two options available i.e. ADD and REMOVE.

Need a confirmation on the exact process to follow and what pre-checks need to be done prior to adding the new licenses.

Is the below sequence correct -

a) Add the three new licenses

b) Remove the licenses that are going to expire.

A quick response is very much needed and shall be appreciated.

I'd forgotten that is was just a data extension to the licensing. So it's a straightforward case of removing the existing licensing as per the screenshot and then adding the new licensing.

Remove and then add. Replication will not be affected.

If it's for the same array, yes. Sometimes the license files are separate, based on local or remote replication, so this might not be the case.

If you screenshot the current licensing screen and tell me what you are adding I can tell you.
