licensing issue with multiple vcenter (multiple sites)
Hi,
I have a customer who bought 250 Vm RP for VM, the licence is attached to the locking ID of the vcenter at site A.
So i can replicate to site B and C. I can do failover, etc....
Now, if I want to protect a VM that is on site B, can I do it or do I need a lic for the vcenter at site B?
I want to replicate VM from site B to site A or C and something for site C to replicate to site A and B....
The 250TB of RPVM was activated to the machine and locking ID to a vcenter.
I saw on the licensing guide that it is possible:
RecoverPoint for VMs licenses can be partially activated (multiple
production vCenters) or fully activated (single production vCenter).
What is the procedure in order to split the license between multiple vcenter ?
thanks

Hi Benoit,
You can re-host the license b/w vCenters through support.emc.com or by raising a SR with licensing support.
Hope that helps,
