Is this setting still required on an ESXi host for RecoverPoint + basic DR secnario

I have I have 2 SANs and 2 sites (1 SAN is in each site). Only 1 vCenter server. Each site is in its own cluster too.

Would configuring this setting: LVM.enableResignature to 1 still be needed when doing a failover and/or failback w/ RecoerPoint?

You really should not have this set on new ESXi hosts these days, but from what I'm reading, it's still needed for those of us who use RecoverPoint as part of our DR plan.
