Failing over a VM while keeping the same IP address. . .
All:
I'm using OTV between sites, and I do not want to change IP addresses when I execute a failover. Do I have to actually create a csv for every VM to allow it to keep its IP address?
And if that's the case, how can anyone replace SRM with this?
Thanks!

Hi,
That's not the case. Changing the IP in RP4VM is optional.
For every recovery activity, you can select whether to keep current network configuration or to move to a different vSwitch/dVswitch as well as bubble network options.

No, if you don't want to change the IP address, then you don't need to use the csv. By default he copy VM will come up wit the same IP as the source.

and to add to this, if you ensure that the shadow VM has the correct VM network set prior to the failover then you can use the 4th network configuration option as opposed to choosing the 3rd option and have to select the appropriate VM network to use.
