Can we do a SAN COPY from SNAP LUN presented from RP
Is it possible to do SAN copy from a SNAP LUN created via RecoverPoint using Test Copy to a different LUN so that we can TEST the VM for how much long we wanted to and the replication will continue.
I understand that the replication will still continue even in the test copy on recoverpoint, fo our specific business reasons I wanted to do a SAN copy of that SNAP LUN to a new LUN

Hi,
It's possible to configure SAN Copy (Full and Incremental) from a RecoverPoint replica.
This is also stated in the VNX Open Systems Configuration Guide available on support.emc.com.

Hi Idan,
You are right that we can do a SAN copy from the Recoverpoint Replica, But my question here is
Need to do SAN copy from a SNAP LUN created via RP Recovery (Test a Copy) and then copy that SNAP LUN (Point in Time, Logged Access) to a new LUN via SAN copy so that I can test it for longer peried of time .
Do you think this would be possible in any way.. Pls Suggest
Idan

I believe we are saying the same thing; It is possible to SAN copy from the RP replica after performing image access. RP does not create snap volumes from the replica but enabling access to a selected point-in-time.
