Can a San Copy Target Lun be used as a Recoverpoint Source Lun?

Hi there,

I am in the midst of performing a migration from a VNX5500 to VNX5600. I am opting to use a storage based migration method. Part of customer requirements are that the Recoverpoint Replication to DR must be started simultaneously with the migration.

I am aware that MirrorView Target cannot be used as a RecoverPoint Source Lun. Does the same apply for San Copy?

Hi Vimal, It is fully supported to have RP replicate from a target of Full or Incremental SAN Copy. Regards, Idan
