Boot luns
Hi,
Some of our servers have boot luns. Can those be replicated to the DR site, especially if we are on a different IP network at the DR site?
Many thanks!

I believe the specific boot-lun support is identified in the SSM and ESM (support matrix) on EMC's site and where it is supported, they can be replicated.
In the past I have separated out the Boot LUN's into their own CG and the DATA LUNs into another CG and then use group sets for parallel bookmarking - this allows flexibility during testing/failover in case you have to roll forward/back one item and not the other - just saves time in some cases.
In terms of the IP question, that won't void any support that is listed in the ESM, however it will be an administrative task that you will have to account for an perform on any recovery at the DR site. RP won't automate this for you with physical servers.
