Accuracy of Balance Load
I'm trying to understand how to correctly use the balance load command, if it all, so that our RP environment is working as expected. Anyone have any insight into the following questions/thoughts?
1. Balance Load seems to simply be recommending moving CGs in circles. Meaning 1 week we are asked to move about 75% of the CGs, then the following week it is the same thing all over again. Why should we adjust when I know tool will tell me to move it again? Maybe it is designed for very consistent type of workloads?
2. Recommending RPA addition even though statistics are significantly lower than stated specifications. Our 4 RPAs average 30 MB/sec and 1450 incoming writes each. CPU of each RPA is less than 20% per the GUI.

Hi Hershal,
The balanced_load command performs it assessment based on a collection of 7 days of performance data and it's analysis is based solely on peak MB/s throughout. So it's quite feasible to experience the results/behaviour you are seeing.
My advice would be to use the Long Term Stats Tool in conjunction with a collection of data via the export_consolidated_statistics CLI command to compliment the assessment.
