Trying to diagnose issue with Dell R330 Running FreeBSD
Hi,
Del R330 running pfSense on FreeBSD. Initially the network started falling over randomly and although the server appeared operable it was unresponsive (and as its the network router/firewall everything else became unresponsive).
If I look in iDRAC I see (around the same time this all started):
A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 0 device 1 function 2.
A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 3 device 0 function 0.
Lifecycle diagnostics however dont seem to report any issues.
If I drop to the command line for pfSense, after a while I see:
mfi0: COMMAND 0xfffffe0037228088 TIMEOUT AFTER 48 SECONDS
and after a seemingly random period of time from 5 minutes to a few hours, the server becomes non-responsive again and the network falls over again.
Can anyone guide me on what the iDRAC errors may refer to (how do I track back what the bus device and functions referred to actually are?).
Thanks
Andy

remove all the PCI card and check if the same error occur again, it might be due to a PCIe Lan card or other cards(HBA, RAID)

Thanks @Praveen.Singh
Tried that, no luck - ended up being a known driver compatibility issue with FreeBSD and the RAID card. A driver swap resolved it.

Sorry @Dell-Martin S
Will remember that for next time. Ended up being a driver issue so resolved now.
Thanks
