SH PowerEdge 320

Hello! I bought a SH PowerEdge 320 from OLX and somehow I reset the IDRAC 7 license and now I can’t access the server remotely. I saw other topics and I made a request for ownership transfer. The ID of the request is

651501EE-DF67-48C5-BE90-5D34125BB63A. Also can you please check if this server has a valid IDRAC 7 license to know if I should continue this process of ownership transfer? Thanks a lot in advance!

Did you get an email that said ownership had changed?

 

Did you check any spam folder you may have in case it got tagged?

 

If the ownership didn't go through then you will need to contact Customer Care in your region to see if they need more information. Customer Care: 1 (800) 624-9897 for US/Canada

Sure, I can wait, but I wanted to know if the server has a valid IDRAC 7 license. Because if hasn't the ownership transfer doesn't help me too much.

Also where I will see the result of the ticket? I think I didn't mark the receive the result on email.

Sorry, I'm not aware of a tool you can monitor the ticket. However I can share with you this information "If an ownership transfer is required through the website, the transfer process should take 7-10 business days for a domestic transfer and up to 15 business days for international transfers. This timing may vary due to the amount of information submitted."

if you put your service tag into the support site, then click the View Product Specs, if there was an idrac license originally sold with the unit, it will state that in the list.

@DELL-Rey G ok, but quantity is 0 for this item with 0JDWX. Also if my request of ownership transfer is accepted can I request this license?

@Dr.Drey​ I was checking an R620 service tag we have here, it shows quantity one for the license, so I may be wrong about yours having had a license when it shipped. Without the service tag, I cant be sure, my sincere apologies.

The service tag you posted sold with an iDRAC Enterprise license.
