rNDC can't update firmware
Curious if anyone knows why this won't update, am I missing something? This is in iDrac. When I try to update firmware in LCC I get a completely different error, it doesn't even make it as far as the iDRAC.
LCC error attached with red bar up top "Critical".

I ended up figuring this out, but I didn't see this solution anywhere, so let me post it.
BIOS Version: 2.16.0
iDrac Firmware Version: 2.84.84.84
Lifecycle Controller Firmware: 2.84.84.84
System Revision: I (Is there a revision II?)
Server: Dell PowerEdge r730xd
RNDC Dell P/N: 6VDPGA (2*1Gb rj45 + 2 sfp+ ports)
Download 19.5.12 firmware from here. Install in iDrac web gui.
Download 20.0.17 firmware from here. Install in iDrac web gui.
I basically had to do incremental update manually, but finding the v19 firmware was a little difficult.
Each flash took about 5-6 minutes once it booted into lifecycle to start the firmware flash before it completed the flash.
I have a feeling the discrepency here is how the different interfaces of the card are inventoried, the second sfp+ interface does not match the rest and I have a feeling this is throwing off the update logic. Dell should probably fix that.

Jeremiah Bright,
The guide says that for the SUP0528 error you need to Exit the Platform Update wizard and retry the operation. If the problem persists,
update the Lifecycle Controller firmware to the latest version and retry the operation. So I assume that's where we are currently. I found a couple things, such as the posting here that covers the same issue with the same rNDC.
Let me know if that helps.

What generation server is this? The message RED097 almost makes it sound like it's a card that isn't considered officially supported in that specific generation.
I've also found the 12th generation has lots of issues with using the lifecycle controller update method nowadays so that could be the issue if this is a 12th generation machine.
