R720XD Firmware Upgrade Path
Hi Everyone,
I recently had to replace the motherboard for my R720XD system because of the bad iDrac that couldn't be recovered. The replacement motherboard has the following:
BIOS Version: 1.6.0
iDrac Firmware Version: 1.37.35 (Build 02)
Lifecycle Controller Firmware: 1.1.1.18
To avoid any issues with a bad firmware update, What is the upgrade path to get all the firmware updated to the latest version?
Thanks

It is not recommended to directly update from very old FW to latest FW as it may result in unforeseen behavior. I would recommend to choose one FW from each year based on release date and perform staged (First iDRAC then BIOS for a specific year FW and continue the same for FW from other years) update. You can go to "Other Available Versions" section on support site to get release date and link for old releases.
