R440 Make the fan quieter
Hello.I've already searched on the internet but haven't found a solution.I have an R440 and my fans are too loud.I'm now at 18% and about 4800rpm.But I can't enter the value in IDRAC9.Can I change it to maybe 10% or less via Putty or some other way?

Hello, 18% is already very low.
My suggestion would be you may consider using tower servers- they have bigger fans and not so loud.
is not possible it will go as much speed as needed to provide proper cooling
also your inlet temperature is 24, does not look like it is in the data centre, lower inlet temperature meaning less fan speed will be required.
