R250 Critical Memory error
I have two R250 servers each with 2x16GB DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 Unbuffered ECC 1.2V CL17 2Rx8 Dual Rank 288 Pin UDIMM each. I have purchased more 16gb ram and it is on the way. In the mean time I combined all four of these UDIMMs into one machine and got the following error.
PST0193 BIOS POST memory test failed.
I tried reseating the ram twice, but still get the error. I tried them in the other machine with the same result.
I put them back in separate machines, 32 each and they work fine.
Is there something that I have to do first to be able to do this?

Hello DewayneD,
It shows here that the 16G DIMM has to be 1R

Can you share the part# of the DIMM currently you have? Are these came with the server or you installed separately. As Charles mentioned dual rank 16GB memory is not supported on R250

As it turned out, 16GB dual rank are only supported on the first two dimms. The second two have to be single rank. All three servers are working great with 2x16GB + 2x8GB for a total of 48GB.
