Can the TPM in a Poweredge R730 be upgraded from version 1.2 to 2.0 via a firmware upgrade?
Thanks

Thanks, but that relates to the previous generation of Poweredge servers, and is from seven years ago so not sure that it really answers the question.

Thanks, so how is it done? No new firmware is showing as available for the server in the lifecycle controller, and I've also run the latest server update utility on it.

Hello davidinyork,
The TPM is a physical card attached to the system board. There are BIOS settings you may need to make.
Part Number #565-BBED: Trusted Platform Module 2.0, Customer Kit

Thanks - I'll contact our account manager and get a price for a TPM 2.0 module (if they are still available for that model).
