PowerEdge R340 A12 ReadyRails Server Rack Installation Problem
Good Day,
I’m having a problem right now installing the Dell R340 in a network cabinet where if I push the server till it locks, the rear side of the cable mounting kit is hitting the rear door of the panel. This makes the rear door to be unable to close. Is there anything we should adjust with the rails that we don't let the cable mounting kit to extend further behind? Or any workarounds from this problem?
Picture attached is the Dell R340 together with the other servers which fits perfectly.

Raneej,
To start would you confirm the part numbers for the rails and cable kit, so that I may verify compatibility? Also, would you confirm the specifics of the rack you are installing the server in?
Lastly, if you follow the link here you will find a walkthrough on installing the A12 kit on the R340.
Let me know if this helps.

looks to me like your rack just isnt deep enough friend
can you move the rack posts closer together? They are typically adjustable

Hello friend,
Wouldn't it make the servers super close to the front door?

is there no room to move the servers closer to the front door?
looks like you might just have a shorter than normal rack. usually there is more depth
