Poweredge 720 and 730 - 10gb ethernet connection speed dropping to 13mb (or thereabouts)
As above ive got 2 servers above (a 730 as my main and a 720 as a backup server) Both have 10gb ethernet network cards installed - both these servers are connected to one of these.....
With 2x RJ45 sfp's in ports 11 and 12 - Running server 2022 with the latest drivers on initial connection i can get 4 - 600mb per second which is great but after a few minutes it drops down to about 13mb per second. Ive tried a variets of different thing, locking the speed, mapping to the direct ip, setting the Jumbo frames but nothing seems to work....
Has anyone else tried this?
Cheers.

After a fair bit of testing ive managed to get the speed up, but not remain constant...while ive not been able to max out the bandwidth (nice if i could) ive managed to greatly improve the speed but, it does have it moments mid copy of some files where it bombs out to literally 0 and then pick back up again. Changes that have helped are
1. Latest chipset drivers
2. Running the Dell SUU update which found the firmware on the 720 was quite out of date...so, much better but i would say could still be better again...
For the record im using the microsoft synctoy to copy and manage the folders.

Just to post again....speed dropped again....im getting less than a gig ive got all the network cables tied into the switch now. Ive tried tiying all the network lines in using the standard network bridge in windows and also the teaming function in the server manager - all with no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
