PERC H710 Mini firmware 21.3.5-0002 A09

Where can I find the firmware for PERC H710 Mini firmware 21.3.5-0002 A09

I have an older Dell R520 with H710 Mini and the finding this via the Dell service tag returns older firmware than what I currently have

Solution: Download the full  20GB+ Dell Server Update Utility, Look in the catalog in the downloaded files, locate the H710 firmware package, use 7-zip to view the archive, pull the .BIN file and install via Linux.

Hi,

that firmware version might not show up if you're searching by service tag, especially on older systems like the R520. Dell tends to filter results based on warranty status or what they think is compatible, so newer or alternate versions can be hidden.
If the direct link to the firmware doesn’t work or it’s been pulled, you can try grabbing the Dell Server Update Utility (SUU) ISO for 12th Gen servers (like the R520/R720). It usually includes a bunch of firmware updates and might have what you need.
Here’s the link to the SUU ISO:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=72h31&oscode=wst14&productcode=poweredge-r720

Hope that helps!

@DELL-Erman O Umm that is borderline ridiculous behaviour from Dell, If I'm being completely honest. Why do they offer such a deprecated version when searching via the service tag but not the latest available? Wild.

The above isn't applicable for me as this server does not run Windows.

you might want to check out this third-party site — I could only find the firmware there myself. Try searching for:

SAS-RAID_Firmware_MFGKT_WN64_21.3.5-0002_A09.EXE

on the site. That version seems to be floating around outside of Dell’s official listings. Worth a shot if you're stuck!

@DELL-Erman O File not available.

This is rather frustrating. Why can't Dell just provide these files in an archive?
