PDR1016 Drive2 removed from bay1, Check Drive.
Hi,
I am getting "PDR1016 Drive2 removed from bay1, Check Drive" message in Power edge R620 server. Can someone help me to give suggestions to fix this and what would be cause for this message. Getting this message, even changing the new HDDs in slot0 and slot1. There are no other drives inserted in other slots.

Hello,
is RAID status online? I would suggest to check PERC and HDD firmware if there are any updates.
Then plan a downtime and check if after powering off the server the error is the same.
Also did you tried to clear logs?

Thanks for your reply. I can see that the RAID status is online. From where I should check for PERC HDD firmware updates?
I have not cleared the logs, can u suggest me the steps to clear the logs?

Yes, you can try to clear logs then in the iDRAC under physical disk you should check the revision of the physical disks. And PERC fw is under storage.
But yes, if you have possbility to downtime, first clear logs and restart.
