NVMe RAID Support for R660
Hi All,
I have a customer looking at purchasing some R660s for SQL workloads and was hoping to use a single cpu config and wanted to have the boot volume in NVMe disks - is HW RAID supported for NVMe in a single CPU config in the R660s ?

Hello tjansen1556,
For Hardware RAID NVMe boot you could choose:
PERC H755N Front (NVMe Only)
or
Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (BOSS-N1): HWRAID 2 x M.2 NVMe SSD

With the 16Gen Server like your R660 also a new the PERC 12Gen was introduced. So select a chassis configuration which let you select the NEW H965i.

To confuse the people also the old H755N is available in some configs.
Take a look to the "xs" models which comes with less free memory slots for a good price and yes also one CPU configs are available.
The former BOSS-S2 is now the BOSS-N1 and yes you name it.... its now 2x480GB NVMe (RAID1).
