Initializing firmware interfaces..blocked

Hello,

I am working on my lab computer DELLEMC POWEREDGE T340 and suddenly it shut down and now it is freezing in the initializing firmware interfaces.

How can I fix this?

Hi,

 

This might be indicating that one of the hardware in the server is not functioning well. Can you provide a screenshot of the display that you mentioned it froze? Is there any 3rd party non-Dell hardware in the server?

 

Can you remove all components, except these below and try to turn on the server to check if the issue persist. 

  • One Processor

  • One memory module (DIMM) in socket A1

  • One power supply unit

  • System board

  • PIB (Power Interface Board) and cable
