iDRAC 9 License Access
I purchased two R740 servers off ebay. Both came with Perpetual Enterprise licenses on the iDRAC. Both updated to the latest iDRAC version but one of them had some weird oddities, like PCIe airflow settings not showing and a few other things. I decided to export the license and reboot the iDRAC and then re-apply the license but when I go to apply the license I get a LIC016 error "The feature dependencies of the license are not met." I submitted a ownership transfer request and got an email that it was completed and I was able to add both devices to my account but I cannot access the licenses and the server no longer has support. What are my options?

Hello, what I can suggest is,
you can try cloning server profiles from working to non working, assuming they are twin brothers with identical licenses, it should work.

Types of Export:
I would say just be careful with RAID config- you may end up wiping the whole OS. You can uncheck the box here.

I was able to finally find the license for the iDRAC and re-apply it. This time it worked getting the XML license file from Dell.
Still though, the PCIe Airflow Settings in cooling does not show up in the web interface and the iDRAC also does not detect network switch settings (switch port information) in iDRAC settings with the same settings as the other R740 I got. These two servers were built at the same time with the same config so I wouldn't expect any hardware/revision differences between the two. Not the end of the world, just more curious why some things show up in the web interface on one, but not the other.
