I have Question add disk to PowerEdge R430

###I added 5 new disks. I want to know.###

1. Can the disk be added to the existing raid or not, which was originally raid 5?

2. If I can't add, can I create another vd group?

Which I suspect the warning message "RAC0516: Converting physical disk drives to RAID-compatible will overwrite any OS-created RAID arrays. Make sure that there are no OS-configured RAID arrays, and then click OK." If I press ok, will the existing raid be deleted or is it just formatting new disk?

That just is referring to the drives you are ADDING - converting from non-RAID to RAID will render their data unreadable - not the existing disks. Once converted, then yes, you should be able to add them to the existing array (OR create a new VD with them), assuming your existing RAID 5 disks are the same.

Just keep in mind the following, because once you add them to the existing array, your storage "disk" inside the OS will be LARGER THAN 2TB:

You MUST HAVE ALREADY installed Windows in UEFI boot mode (your disk will already show as GPT)!

If your boot mode is set to BIOS, then your disk will be MBR and you will NOT be able to utilize all the space - you will be limited to 2TB. An alternative to use most of the space in this case is to convert your RAID 5 to RAID 6.
