how do I install ubuntu and NextCloud on a Dell poweredge 1950 gen iii
hello my name is sean and trying to figure out if ubuntu 22.04 and next cloud could be installed on a dell poweredge 1950 gen iii it has 2X2tb sas hdds, 32gb of fully buffered RAM and dual quad core Intel Xeons it also has a Perc 5/i integrated SAS Controller configured at raid0 because it only supports 2 3.5" drives and both drive cages are already populated. if it is possible could someone point me in the right direction to it into a cloud server. I am new to the server field.

Hello Sean thanks for choosing Dell.
As what you wish you to do has not been tested by Dell, I am afraid I'm not much of help this time but hope that other community users have the same experience that could help you with.
Respectfully,

yes you can install ubuntu on that server. I dont know what NextCloud is so idk on that.
you can either install ubuntu directly on the drives (bare metal) or as a VM using a hypervisor (recommended).
For bare metal, just boot to a usb with the iso on it just like you would any other computer.
I would strongly recommend against running your drives in raid0. Go raid1 if you only have 2 drives. Raid0 offers no redundancy.
