Error al iniciar OEMR XL R330

Hello.
I have an OEMR XL R330 and when I turn it on it pauses on this screen, it doesn't allow me to use any of the commands that are there.
The only useful command is the restart command. And I need to go into the system BIOS or know how to restart it.
I don't know if it takes too long to start, because I've waited about 30 minutes but it doesn't continue from that screen.

Thank you

Hello,

It appears it is not completing POST and looks like it stops at the H730 controller.

Can you get in to controller BIOS by pressing <Ctrl><R>?

Do you see any amber lights on the system?

Was anything done on the system when this issue started?

Was any firmware or driver updates being applied?

Was any hardware added or removed?

First thing I can recommend is try a flea power drain and check results:

drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed).

After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in.

At this time remove the PERC controller and reinstall. This will reseat the controller.

Then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.

@DELL-Charles R

The command <Ctrl><R> does not work, the computer was working normally it just stopped working and gave this problem. There is a blue light on the back.

I just did the drain flea power but it didn't work, the problem continues.

Hi,

Please perform to minimium to post. If POST complete then reinstall the parts one by one and try again until you find the problem part. I've couldn't find the blue light. But there is a health indicator which the indicator turns solid blue if the system is in good health.

The minimum components to allow the R330 to complete POST are:

  • System board
  • CPU1 with heat sink (minimum for troubleshooting)
  • Single DIMM configuration with DIMM in socket A1
  • Control panel with cable (to power system on)
  • Power supply unit (and Power Distribution Board [PDB]/Power Interposer Board [PIB])
