Dell Server Update Utility, Windows 64-bit format, v.24.12.00

Hello,

I tried update my PowerEdge R750xs with SUU v.24.12.00 (Windows Server 2022). If I run UI mode the compliance report is empty. If I run CLI mode I get a error message:
E:\> suu --compliance
Server Update Utility 24.12.00
Copyright (C) 2014 -- 2024 DELL Proprietary.
Reading the catalog ...
Signature verification for inventory collector failed
Progress report is available at:C:\ProgramData\Dell\DELL System Update\dell_dup\SUU_STATUS.json
Exiting SUU!

Have anyone who have the same issue? Or have any solution?

Tonislow,

Dell is aware of the SUU outage and are currently working to get it resolved. Unfortunately I don't have any details to give you on how long it may take to resolve the issue, but I would suggest you check back

Let me know if this helps.

Same issue via the lifecycle controller (worked on one R660 but not the other)

Hi,

I think meanwhile, you can use an alternative SUU or check catalogs for such as Dell Repository Manager.

For me, it turned out that the ISO downloaded improperly. I only happened to notice that the file size of the .ISO (~7GB) did not match what I was expecting to download from the dell website (~15GB). It was strange. The .ISO file was valid, I was able to mount it, I was able to launch suulauncher.exe. The only noticeable issue was that the utility was blank just like it was for the OP.

After attempting the download multiple times, the issue occurred again and again, the size of the downloaded file did not match what I was expecting. Only after my 4th download attempt where I monitored the ~15GB download the entire time did the download complete as expected and the utility launched and populated without issue. I hope this info helps someone.

Well this is exactly what happens to us now. The problem that we face in addition is that we can't use the ISO locally. IT will always block to the same file when tries to "download it" from the ISO to a temp location.

invCol_WIN64_C1KC7_24_12_00_240_A00.exe .Error DUP is not signed.

I know one driver which is needed on the server, and every time we try to update it individually it ends in "Authentication failure" error
