Dell R720 Fan 4 Spin like it is trying to take off!
Hi Fan 4 has gone into overdrive, currently spinning faster than the other(12600 RPM), all fans claim their spinning at the same % but fan 4 is always has high RPM.

Hi,
Was there any hardware changes? Is there any third party hardware, non Dell brands?
I've come across such issue before, but this need more troubleshooting to identify the root cause. Have you tried swapping the fan? To check if it is the fan or slot issue? Can you bring the server to minimum to post components to check if there is any other component that is causing the issue? You can roll back to previous version of update, but it is advisable to stay updated. Have you tried resetting the iDRAC?
