Dell r510 bootable Update CD - Needed

Hi,

I'm looking for an Dell r510 bootable Update CD iso I could download, I have tried via the Lifecontroller to find that no longer works and using the EMC tool it also looks like the Dell r510 has been removed from there also.

I see a link to a bootable cd that has been shared many times within this forum which is also no longer working, if someone was able to help me out with this iso for the dell R510 and others if they have them I'm more than happy to host them as to help others.

Many Thanks.

Korayd,

The page here will discuss the different update options, including SUU, and links to the installation guide for each of them.

Let me know if this helps.

Platform specific bootable ISO for firmware update is currently available only for 12G onwards. If you have a supported windows or Linux operating system, you can try server update utility (link below) to update server BIOS and firmware

Windows : https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=twh73&oscode=w12r2&productcode=poweredge-r510

Linux : https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=9ghnc&oscode=w12r2&productcode=poweredge-r510

I downloaded the isos in the link. But I can't write to USB. Rufus gives the error that the format does not match. What is the method? Can you help?

Hi,

As Shine mentioned this is only for updating and not a bootable Image.

Is there a document on how to update with this iso?

What is the order of operations?
How can I update?
