Dell Power Edge r720 PERC H310 Disks in Foreign State
Hello all, I'm new to Dell
I have got a Dell PowerEdge R720 that uses a RAID Controller (PERC) H310. One of the drives was faulty & I replaced(via hot swap). Rebuild process was initiated automatically(assumption) but after a day there was a power failure. Entered the configuration utility & noticed that all virtual disks were wiped off & also all the old 7 physical disks are currently in foreign state except for the new one which is online. To change the disk status from foreign state to online I have tried to import foreign config & it fails with an error. What's the best action to take after this? If I clear foreign state will the actual data be lost or only the array will be deleted?
I need assistance in recovering the RAID configuration & recovering the service
Thanks in advance

Rankss,
Would you confirm what the specific error you see when trying to Import the foreign?
Now with it failing to import, you may want to consider a data recovery company. Normally we would suggest a retag of the Virtual Disk, but with the H310 controller that isn't an option as it automatically initializes the Virtual Disk upon creation.
Let me know if this helps
