Dell PERC H700 Replacement DPNs

I currently have a PERC H700 RAID card in my file server. The issue is the card has stopped working! I want to replace it, and import the current disk config into the replacement card, right? My card is marked:
Dell PERC H700 (1GB) RAID Controller card:
DPN=0GRXYF, CN-OGRXYF-75435-373-002D-A02
Dell Netlist 1GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 Cache Module: NHW127R21207F-D64NMHDO

Questions:
1)There are a few different DPNs for essentially the same card it seems! Can I use any of them to replace mine?
2)If I get a 512MB cache card, can I just swap over my existing-GB cache card to the replacement card?

Hello,

For the same product, the DPN might vary based on the configuration, region, or revision. Even if the DPN is different, the card’s functionality and compatibility should be the same. You can try using a replacement card with a different DPN, but make sure to check compatibility before buying. Ensure the replacement card supports your server’s BIOS version and has the same features as your current H700 card.

Regarding the cache size, you can’t swap a 1GB cache card with a 512MB one. The cache size is specific to the controller card, so a 512MB card won’t work with your 1GB cache card. At least that's how I know it.

Verify the replacement card’s compatibility with your server’s BIOS version and configuration. Back up your data and configurations to ensure a smooth transition.

Hope that helps!

Well, that’s what I’m asking; what DPNs are functionally the same as my 0GRXYF I need to replace basically?

Essentially I just wanna know what DPNs I can use to replace my 0GRXYF card? Or do I HAVE to use exactly the same DPN?

it’s odd that you mention you can’t “upgrade” a 512MB card to a 1GB card just by swapping the memory part; as I’m 50% sure that’s what I did with mine originally…but it was a while ago now I can’t be sure.
