Hello,
can you give me more details?
Did you tried to remove CMC and reseat again? Is this issue present from first installation? Any details about the error?
Thanks

@DELL-Marco B Hello,
Yes I got MM2/CMC2 status failed on OME Dell MX7000 management when I first installed it. I haven't tried to reseat MM2/CMC2. this is the error we got on Display UID

@DELL-Marco B Hello,
Do we just try to unplug the CMC directly without any specific steps?

Hi,
The Management Module is hot plug: https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-mx7000/pemx7000_ism_pub/hot-plug-and-non-hot-plug-devices?guid=guid-08ef171d-b107-4d62-bd67-28f3d2686cd0&lang=en-us
You can also try using OME-M to reset MM: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000200779/mx7000-how-to-reset-a-management-module

@DELL-Joey C Hello,
Does reseat mean unplug CMC or reset CMC from OME-M?
We know that reset is not recommended when one of the CMCs is alert/failed.
please correct me

Hello,
try first to reset OME-M to reset MM as suggested by Joey

Hi,
Most likely yes. But do you have the full error message or any OME-M error messages?
