Can I install a GPU on a Dell R330?

I am willing to give it a try them. Is the card I mentioned my best attempt? 

PowerEdge R330 does not support GPU. Not supported does not mean it will not work. As it is not supported it is not validated, hence we can not guarantee that it will work. You can also wait for another Community member who tried this combination and share their experience.

@DELL-Young E& @DELL-Shine K I just received my P400 by PNY and it works! Only thing is fans ramp up. Any idea how to properly quiet them down?

Would purchasing a F2NVH P400 keep that from happening or is it because it detected a GPU?

As Dell has not validated any GPU for the R330 we would not have any recommendation on adding one to the system.

Hopefully, like stated above, if someone on the forum has successfully done it they may add their experience to the thread.

The fans ramp up because the DRAC does not know what that device is and increases cooling to prevent overheating.

You may try adjusting the thermal settings, test with different settings, to see if you find something you like.

We would not have any recommended setting for a GPU install as it has not been validated.

Once I configure the fan to my liking, what should I keep an eye on? Temperatures? Voltages?

While I understand you can't predict but what's the worst that could happen?

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately lowering the fan speed is not possible using those settings. It appears that it only works for raising it?
