Broadcom 57412 problem

Dears, I have a problem with a network card. I've got a Broadcom 57412 Dual Port 10Gb, SFP+, PCIe Adapter, Low Profile. The problem is that the card is not recognized by Proxmox VE 7.2. If we connect the card to a desktop pc with another Linux distro (for example Debian 11) the device works, but in Proxmox VE 7.2 it not appear as a device. The server is a Dell R540.

We try lspci command but the card doesn't appear. Also we try to install the drivers from the Broadcom web site without success. In the iDRAC management site we can see it installed in the SLOT #4.

Would you provide us a driver package or some information about the compatibility with of this card with Linux distros mounted on the server?

Thank you.

Hi @cperezrit,

Unfortunately, PowerEdge is not certified to run Proxmox and as much as we would like to help but we are unable to provide support. If iDRAC is detecting the hardware, then you might want to look into OS support capability.
