BIOS Update Issue on PowerEdge R330 – SUP0525 Error
Hello,
I have a PowerEdge R330 server currently running BIOS version 1.4.3. I'm trying to update it to the latest version (2.20) using a USB drive. The USB is formatted as FAT32, and the update .exe file is in the root of the drive.
However, when I try the update, I get this error:
Unable to verify the digital signature of the update package. (SUP0525)
Recommended Action: Download the latest supported update package from your service provider and retry the operation.
I’ve confirmed that this is the latest available BIOS version. Could you please advise on how to update the BIOS?
Thank you.

I managed to update it to version 2.4.3 using the 64-bit exe file. However, attempting to update to the next version, 2.5.0_01.exe or 2.6.1_01.exe, results in the same error as before.

What version is your idrac? The update packages are somewhat dependent on the idrac version.
