Adding in Backplane Cable for R6525

Hi,

I have a PowerEdge R6525, and I noticed that there is no cable connecting to the last two drive bays. If I wanted to populate these two drive bays, would it be as simple as plugging in a cable? If so, what cable would I need. Attached is a picture of where the is port on the backplane.

Thank you in advance!LAS0110_Drive_Back_Plane84 (003)-min.png

It should be that simple, if the drives were connected at the rear then there would be additional steps to connect.

Thank you! Would it be as simple as connecting that cable to the backplane, and then I'll be able to install drives in those last two drive bays? Or would there be some extra steps I would have to take?

Techmanjesus007,

From what i am seeing, the cable needed would be part # F7WXD.

Let me know if this helps.
