@Dell - Zwilliams​ I assume you're not answering my post but rather someone who replied to me and then deleted their reply.

A brief perusal of the recent posts on this message board strongly indicates that this exam is deeply flawed. I haven't heard of a single other Dell exam that has drawn so many widespread complaints. Is Dell intending to revise this exam accordingly? Exams should not require 4+ attempts to pass. Few of us have that kind of money to throw at certification exams.

@Dell - Zwilliams While I appreciate that you cannot discuss exam specifics on a board such as this, surely you can say whether or not Dell is doing anything about the flaws in this exam?

I have sent an inquiry to my company Dell rep about this but we're not getting much response from the Education group, unfortunately.

it's a bit late to answer it, hope my reply can help anyone. 

I've passed this exam and I would like to share how I prepared the exam:

1. Join the training course, ask the trainer about the theory parts which I don't understand 

2. Make note during class for both theory and lab practice. 

3. Review the participant guide document, sometimes read the smartfabric OS10 user guide document which has more detail explanations and operation steps. 

4. Install GNS3 and setup a local lab environment, do practice according to lab guide, make sure every command is typed current, DO NOT USE 'tab' to autocomplete the command which won't help for passing the simulation part of exam.

5. Around 1 week before taking exam, read carefully the exam description which shows what areas are important for exam, the review the participant guide and lab guide again to make sure all the points are clear. 

I spent 1 month to prepare the exam, the part 1 theory test is easy, but the part 2 simulation test is a bit difficult for me because I always use 'tab' to autocomplete the command when doing practice, while the simulator has very limited command help info. 

One more thing is the simulation exam only has 30 minutes duration, DO PAY ATTENTION TO it. I wasted about 10 minutes at the first simulation question, that's impacting my following time allocation :(
