Retake ism v2
Hi,
I took the Information Storage Associate exam in Dec 2009 and got the certification . I believe this exam is now retired and replaced by E10-001. I am now planning to take E20-026 exam which has pre requiste of E10-001. Does this mean I need to take the E10-001 exam ?
Thanks,
Ram

While E20-001 is a retired exam, your certification has not expired. You do not need to take the E20-001 in order to qualify for Specialist certification; the E20-001 is still a valid pre-requisite. If you have specific questions about your particular certification path, you can email Education@EMC.com for further clarification.

Ram,
Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "EMC Proven Professional" which would be the most relevant for this question.

Either of associate level exams E10-001 and E20-001 will be sufficient AFAIK. I have taken E20-517 recently which is mentioned E10-001 as a requirement (I have only E20-001).
