New Clariion E20-522 Syllabus
I am not sure if anyone has noticed but the new Clariion specialist certification (the 522 exam) has been updated last month. I for one am happy that topics like storage scope, Visual SAN and older CX3 series are all removed. But what is surprising is that I didnt see any mention of Navisphere in the list of objectives. So I guess no Navisphere either. The way it looks now is the exam would be roughly 70% on replication, 20% on Unisphere and 10% on other misc. topics. Without a Unisphere simulator it would be very difficult to practice any thing. I hope that EMC will release a Unisphere simulator soon.
I have picked up some chatter that EMC will be providing Storage labs for practice purpose at the rate of $350 for 6 hours. Can someone in a position of authority comment on that?

Hi,
Would you be an EMC employee or a partner or a customer or other?

Ajaz,
You are correct, the CLARiiON exam was updated for the latest FLARE 30/Unisphere release. There are currently no plans to release a simulator for this version of the CLARiiON FLARE 30 release.

Ajaz,
To answer the second part of your question, the Educational Services Virtual Lab (ESVL) is available only to EMC Internals, EMC Velocity Partners, and EMC EduCare Customers and is not available to be rented.
