Can you briefly describe your background? For example, how did you first become interested in IT?

I am senior solution architect in EMC IT, working on many different projects related to Analytics, Infrastructure, Enterprise Content Management, Marketing, and Manufacturing. I love writing about innovative ideas and experimenting in solutions.

What most interests you about your work?

I like to work on innovative out-of-the-box thinking and solutions to business problems. Here are a few problems and solutions that I have worked on:

• Proposal Generation Guide: My team worked to automate the full proposal generation process; this has reduced proposal generation at EMC to about 15 minutes.
• End User Incident Prediction: IT spends a significant amount of money on vendors to support tickets; this project worked to proactively reduce the number of tickets.
• Next Gen IT support Program: Includes self-service, ticket reduction, and persona-based support.

Your Knowledge Sharing article, “Cloud-Based Dashboard Provides Analytics for Services Providers” was published in February 2015.  Can you tell me why you chose to write about this topic?

There are many service providers available to provide services to consumers, and they need to target the right consumer base. There is no neutral system which shows a fair comparisons to service providers and consumers. In our day-to-day life we consume many services without comparing providers and their specialization in a consumer domain. This dashboard provides a new business concept; a centralized way to keep score on providers

What do you want your audience to take away from reading this article?

The power of putting content together can give you new business.

What was your experience writing the article?

I enjoy writing articles, sometimes alone, and sometimes with a team.

What are some interesting projects that you have worked on?

I have worked on multiple patents, including patents for System and Methods for User Location Traceability and Predictions, for a Dynamic Document Generator, and for a Unified and Secured Enterprise Mobility Platform.

What big project are you working on now? Or what major project have you recently completed?

I am currently learning more about working with Predictive Analytics.
